NIHR Evidence Synthesis Group (EnSygN)

EnSygN 91Ö±²¥ is one of nine Evidence Synthesis Groups (ESGs) funded by the NIHR Evidence Synthesis Programme. The aim of the ESGs is to address knowledge gaps or to answer a specific need for the Programme’s healthcare, public health and social care stakeholders and audiences.

NIHR Public Health Review Team

The NIHR has commissioned the Public Health Review Team at SCHARR to collate and evaluate existing research on a wide range of topics with impact on the health and wellbeing of the population. Findings from reviews carried out by the team will help in the planning of future public health programmes and research. The team will produce evidence reviews to inform the development and delivery of public health interventions with the aim of improving health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities.

NIHR Health and Social Care Delivery Evidence Synthesis Centre

The NIHR Health Services and Delivery Research (HS&DR) programme has recommissioned us as one of two national evidence synthesis centres to provide timely and contextualised access to the best research evidence on topics of key importance to the NHS. We use a range of rapid systematic review methods to identify, evaluate and summarise the available research and highlight the implications for NHS decision makers and priorities for further research.
