As an early career teacher we offer you our continued support, as you enter into the early years of your teaching career. Our aim is to help you to build a successful career in the profession.

You are welcome to contact your subject tutor at any time. This might be for support or advice about your year, to request a reference when applying for another teaching post, or just to let them know how you are getting on.
Continuing professional development
Your course tutor will continue to be available to you to offer advice and guidance. offers further support and resources.
If you have already achieved 60 masters credits you can build on these to obtain a masters degree.
Applied Professional Studies in Education MA
The Applied Professional Studies in Education MA (APSE MA) is a distance learning course with regular Saturday morning taught sessions, which offers you another opportunity to share your ECT experiences with colleagues from your course.
You will be supported by an individual subject tutor who may be the tutor you worked with for your PGCE.
