The Department for Education's (DfE) Get into Teaching service .
 
All applications for postgraduate teacher training in England should be submitted via the DfE Apply for teacher training service. 

If you already hold an overseas teaching qualification, .  We advise that you review this information in order to decide which route to teaching in England is best for you.  Teachers from overseas may still wish to train to be a teacher in England to build their knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum. However, please note that if you are eligible for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and decide to embark on teacher training, you will not be eligible for a . 

Writing your application

Your application should make clear how the content of your degree or other education is directly relevant to the course for which you are applying and how your other experiences, activities and personal qualities are relevant to training for teaching.

It is desirable for you to have spent time in a secondary school in the United Kingdom either working, volunteering or as a visitor and to have spent some time within the department of your subject area in particular.
