A home here guarantees you鈥檒l live exclusively with University of 91直播 students from 150 countries. And with the help of our Residence Life teams, you鈥檒l have loads of support to settle in, stay focused and make friends.

Events

Every year, our Residence Life teams put on about 1,000 events and other fun stuff to bring people together. Dance lessons, cultural celebrations, fitness classes, film marathons鈥ll completely free! Events take place across the residences so there's always something close to you.

Their job is making life at university, and making new friends, as fun as it can possibly be. Experience new things, meet new people and learn new skills. You can even organise your own thing or ask us to add something to the weekly programme.

24/7 wellbeing support 

Residence Life Mentors

For many, moving to university is their first time living away from home. The realities and complexities of student living can be overwhelming, that's where Residence Life Mentors come in. They are current students at the University of 91直播 who have lived (or still live) in our accommodation, so they know exactly what you're going through and are there to support you. After you move in, they do regular visits to your residence to check that everyone's okay and to help you with any queries you might have.

When you need us, our Residence Life Mentors and trained support network are here to help you navigate this scary, exciting time. Mentors hold daily Community Cafes across the residences where you can pop by for a hot drink and a chat about anything you'd like. Online sessions are also available if that's what you'd prefer.

Res Life on the Student Hub

Once you live with us you'll have access to the Student Hub where you'll find everything you need to know about Residence Life, with a dedicated Events section where you can filter by date and event category to find exactly what you're after. You'll get a link to the Student Hub pages before you move in so you can take a look around and start planning what you're going to get involved with. 

The place to come together

Wherever you live there are loads of options for meeting new friends or old ones, hanging out, socialising, studying and more! 

Meet for a drink at The Edge Bar, hang out in The Green Room, hire tennis racquets, sunbathe on the lawn or go study by the pond. Watch a movie in the cinema rooms, play pool, or practise music together - the options are endless.
