I am a Research Assistant at the University of 91Ö±²¥ working on an intervention programme called 'The ONE' project, which is being delivered in collaboration with the University of Oxford. The ONE project focuses on training early years practitioners to engage children in play-based activities that support maths skills. The intervention aims to examine the benefits of developing cognitive skills, called executive functions, within the context of mathematics development.

I am interested in how socioeconomic attainment gaps in early maths skills emerge, with particular focus on high-level cognitive skills, such as executive functions and early maths development in young children.
