  • Plan and manage a range of services that help employers build strong, lasting relationships with the University, ensuring that our services are flexible, competitive and adapt to the changing needs of our stakeholders.

Helen Meadows - Events Manager

  • Plan, manage and deliver a comprehensive programme of fairs and events enabling employers to promote opportunities to engage with our students and graduates.
  • Ensure our varied programme provides innovative ways for employers to connect with their target audience, physically and virtually.
  • Manage our marketing and communications, ensuring that employers are aware of our services, events and activities and providing effective promotion for our employer partners.

Natalia Wnuk - Events Officer

  • Plan, manage and deliver a varied programme of events enabling employers to promote opportunities to engage with our students and graduates in-person, online and hybrid.
  • Coordinate and deliver a publicity schedule for events and vacancies using social media and digital channels.
  • Handle enquiries from employers, students and other stakeholders.
  • Manage our employer newsletters as well as designing and developing effective promotion for our employer partners, ensuring they attract the right students at the right time.

Cheryl Moss - Employer Engagement Officer

  • Engage and collaborate with recruiters of science students and graduates.
  • Building and sustaining relationships with organisations of all sizes local, national and global, providing tailored packages to support with their recruitment strategies.
  • Work alongside the Faculty of Science, facilitating employer engagement, encouraging employers to assist in the development of our students employability skills and promoting placement and graduate opportunities suitable for science students.

Yiyun Ling - International Employer Engagement Officer

  • Plan and implement activities to develop our international students’ employability skills.
  • Support companies that are developing trade with internationally by linking them with international students to help them fill skill gaps, such as language skills and culture awareness.
  • Support international employers in their efforts to access and recruit international students/graduates from the University of 91Ö±²¥ who are returning home.

Zoe Hepworth - Employer Engagement Officer

  • Support employers across the UK and local SMEs to access talent at the University through short-term projects, placements and internships, graduate jobs or engagement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with employers, providing tailored recruitment strategies to raise their profile and attract strong candidates.
  • Support employers of all sizes looking to attract and recruit students from the Faculty of Social Sciences, and support students’ employability.

Sam Trafford - Employer Engagement Officer

  • Support employers of all sizes wishing to recruit student and graduate talent from our Faculty of Engineering (including Computer Science) into short-term internship (3 months), year-long placements and graduate roles.
  • Create and enhance long-term strategic relationships with employers by working collaboratively to develop tailored engagement plans which raise their profile and attract suitable candidates.
  • Focus on working with employers who wish to demonstrate excellence in the diversity of their workforce.

Fran Walker - Employer Engagement Officer

  • Develop and account-manages key relationships with employers, supporting the employability of our students and graduates by increasing recruitment opportunities.
  • Support employers across the UK to access talent at the University through short-term projects, placements and internships, graduate jobs or engagement opportunities.
  • Work alongside the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, facilitating employer engagement, encouraging employers to assist in the development of our students’ employability skills and promoting opportunities suitable for Arts and Humanities students.
