Congratulations to iT-CDT students Rachel Bingley, Nadia Salman, James Makin and Mahdiyar Nejadhamzeeigilani who successfully organised and hosted this year's TriboUK 2016 conference, held at the University of Leeds 14–15 April 2016.

iT-CDT students TriboUK 2016

The team worked tirelessly to prepare for the 13th TriboUK student led conference which gives researchers in the field of tribology the opportunity to meet and develop a base for academic and industrial networking. The conference was opened by Professor Anne Neville, Director of Institute of Functional Surfaces at the University of Leeds.

The conference was a chance for students to present and discuss their work with fellow tribologists from all over the UK and for keynote speakers, considered academic pioneers in the field, to give inspiring sessions about the advances and developments in tribology and discuss its importance and future in the next decade.

Well done guys!

Details for TriboUK2017 will be announced shortly.
