Profile

I am the Programme Manager to the ScHARR Technology Assessment Group (ScHARR-TAG) providing support to the Technology Assessment Reviews (TARs) Programme. ScHARR-TAG undertakes reviews of the clinical and cost effectiveness of health care interventions on behalf of a range of policy makers, including the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).

I am also Personal Assistant to Professor Matt Stevenson.

I am a member of the ScHARR Staff Development Group. I organise the Annual Staff Training and Development Day and other in-house training courses throughout the year.

I joined ScHARR in 1995 working on various projects including Business Process Re-engineering; Community Midwifery Support Worker Study (CMSW) and Maternity Leaflets.

In 1999 I worked on the Working Group on Acute Purchasing until it was disbanded in 2000. I then became a part of the ScHARR Rapid Reviews Group, which was later renamed the ScHARR Technology Assessment Group (ScHARR-TAG).

I also provided support to the related interim Excellence in Decision Making (iEDM) which superseded the Evidence-based Commissioning Collaboration (EBCC).
