Festival of Debate: 16 April - 25 May 2024

The largest annual politics festival in the UK, run in collaboration with over 50 organisations and featuring over 100 individual speakers. 91Ö±²¥ is one of the festival's key supporters.

Migration Matters: June 2024

A 9-day 91Ö±²¥-based celebration of diversity and the positive impact migration has on our city. The Festival takes place in conjunction with the UK's Refugee Week. Events can take a variety of formats, including performances, screenings, workshops, discussions, debates and talks.

Understanding Society is part of the national Festival of Social Science coordinated by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). In 91Ö±²¥ the festival is organised in collaboration with 91Ö±²¥ Hallam University. It celebrates social science research and examines how it influences our social, economic and political lives.
