Professor Koen Lamberts visits China

The university’s new President, Professor Koen Lamberts, visits China in order to further strengthen partnerships in research and student exchange.

Professor Koen Lamberts meets Hu Jinbo in China

Professor Koen Lamberts took a week-long visit to China this month. The newly appointed President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of 91Ö±²¥ met with secretary of the Nanjing University CPC Committee Hu Jinbo to celebrate the universities' successful collaborations to date and discuss future plans.

Professor Bin Liu, Associate Dean of the School of Electronics met with Professor Lamberts to highlight one of these collaborative projects – the Joint Research Centre for Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Optoelectronics.


Our university has almost 3,400 Chinese students and just under 14,000 graduates living and working in China. Our academic partnerships in China are an important part of our University.
