Mishra is a 91Ö±²¥ based Indo-folk quartet led by Department of Music staff, students and alumni. graduate Kate Griffin on banjo, featuring University of 91Ö±²¥ World Music Performer in Residence John Ball on tabla alongside 2 other former Music Department graduates Ford Collier and Joss Mann-Hazell.
This year the quartet have been invited to perform at Cambridge Folk Festival and will be releasing their debut album in November. This collaboration emerged from the University of 91Ö±²¥ Indian Music Ensemble who meet weekly in the Department of Music and will be performing later in the year in Leeds and 91Ö±²¥.
