Undergraduate and postgraduate taught modules
- Four Molecules that Changed the World (Level 1)
In this course I introduce the impact on the world of four key molecules connected to biological systems: ethanol, oxygen, the oral contraceptive and sodium stearate (soaps). - Recognition and Non-covalent Interactions (Level 2)
This course introduces the principles of molecular recognition that govern the way in which molecules interact, leading into supramolecular chemistry. - Environmental Chemistry (Level 2)
This course provides a very broad overview of how the Earth's environment has developed and evolved.
Support Teaching:
- Tutorials: Level 1 general Chemistry, Level 2 Organic Chemistry.
