When you no longer wish to undertake casual/GTA work
When you no longer wish to undertake casual/GTA work for the University, it is important that you let us know so we can deactivate your myJobshop account and issue your P45.
You can do this by completing this Google Form: .
Please ensure that you only complete this request form after you have received all outstanding payments and if you do not plan to undertake any further casual/GTA work for the University in the next 6 months.
- Deactivating your myJobshop account

When we deactivate your myJobshop account, you will still have access to view previous assignment and timesheet information.
Your account will need to be reactivated for you to accept any future casual/GTA work.

In the UK and the Republic of Ireland, a P45 is a certificate given to an employee at the end of a period of employment, providing details of their tax code, gross pay, and the tax paid for that year, for them to pass to a subsequent employer or benefit agency.
Following completion of the , and once your final payment has been made, your payroll record will be closed and your P45 will be issued.
Your P45 will be sent to you by email. This email is encrypted to ensure your personal information remains secure and will require a password to access the attached P45 document.
- If you return to work at the University

If you return to work at the University in the future, because your myJobshop and payroll records will have been closed, you will need to complete your new starter checks (i.e. right to work) again, in line with legal requirements.
