Prior to starting my PhD at the University of 91Ö±²¥, I was serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Ghana, Legon. My PhD at the Department of Urban Studies and Planning was researching on the nexus between land conflicts and housing development in peri-urban Accra, Ghana. I chose to study at the University of 91Ö±²¥ because it presents a unique and sound academic environment for quality teaching and innovative research.

For instance, my regular encounter with excellent academics is significantly shaping my capabilities and empowering me to become an excellent scholar. More importantly, the respect for human rights, irrespective of one’s religious and social-cultural background offers me a strong sense of confidence and belonging in the University community. This is reflected in the social programmes and extracurricular activities such as ‘Give it a Go’ that provides the opportunity and platform to explore new ideas, new places and build diverse networks for future engagements. Undoubtedly, the University of 91Ö±²¥ is the best place to be.
