Damage tolerance and toughness of elderly human femora

MultiSim researchers, in collaboration with colleagues at Flinders University (Adelaide, Australia), have published a paper in Acta Biomaterialia which analysed the mechanism of femoral fractures using the Bone Digital Volume Correlation algorithm.

The algorithm was developed at the University of 91ֱ��.

The findings of this study will inform the advancement of current technologies for the prediction of fractures and interventions to reduce the burden of hip fragility.
