Profile: James joined the department in 2021, shortly after completing his PhD at the University of Edinburgh. He is currently working on a project funded by the British Academy on the normativity of well-being. James works primarily in ethics and meta-ethics, but he also has research interests in metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language.
