I was awarded a BA-MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from Istanbul Technical University. Following the completion of my PhD in Housing Economics at the University of 91Ö±²¥, I have worked on funded projects for the Interreg IVB, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Department of Communities and Local Government, and Investment Property Forum. I was appointed as Lecturer in the Department in 2020.
I am currently the academic lead for the career and employability team.

My research interests focus on understanding the structure of urban housing market and specifically exploring the relative merits of different approaches to capturing neighbourhood segmentation within house price models by using quantitative methods.
My research adopts a variety of econometric methods to the analysis of property markets by investigating the effectiveness of different modelling techniques at capturing housing market segmentation.
