I have been in a technician trainee scheme, which taught me how to be a technician. I have multiple achievements, including overhead crane training, pipe fitting, Solidworks training, lathe training, and milling training. Within the trainee technician scheme, I have learned a lot about IT and electronic engineering from soldering to circuit building, the use of hand tools and machine tools like jigsaws to lathes and milling machines learning to help and teach labs.
I am interested in teaching electronic engineering to students by helping the academic staff and showing the students skills that can be used in the future. Being an assistant teaching technician means that I can learn how to help and teach students so they can be the best in their field and I want to help the students find what they are good at to help them with their careers. So they can be skilled to go into any industry or lab with the skills I help them to achieve their goals in their chosen career field.
The teaching activities I want to do in the future include teaching labs getting to teach a new generation of electronic engineers so they can have the qualifications to go in the engineering field. I have a small amount of teaching since during my time at the Trainee technician scheme I spent three months at the diamond I got to help set up and do some of the labs and during the labs, I got to help the students with the equipment and ask relevant questions to what they are doing and why they are doing it like in the jet engine lab asking students about materials and why the engines are made they way they made.
