Between her second and third year at 91Ö±²¥, Sarah completed a placement at the university where she worked in Engagement and Communication. This placement gave Sarah the opportunity to network with various employers, and secured her a job within Strategic Planning Research upon graduation.

This summer, Reem was recognised for her contribution to learning and teaching and was awarded the Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Oisharja Rahman Summer placement: investigating mice muscle regeneration after injury

Oisharja’s 91Ö±²¥ Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) project contributed to a larger body of work in the department, investigating a rare cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Over the summer, Oisharja ran independent experiments that gave her a deep insight into the inner workings of a laboratory.
