At school Ruby loved human geography and set design. She chose to study BA Landscape Architecture as a way to combine the two.

What was your favourite subject at school and why?

At school I loved drama the most because it combined not only performance work but also set design.

Why did you decide to study landscape architecture at 91Ö±²¥?

I chose to study landscape architecture because I really loved human geography and set design and was looking to find a way to combine the two.


I chose the BA route because urban planning and studying people and how they interact with their environment has always fascinated me

In what way (if any) is your course different from what you expected?

The course has a lot more studio time than I thought, and not as many lectures.

What have you enjoyed most about your course so far?

I really love learning new programmes and skills, so that I'll be more employable when I graduate. I also loved learning about the history of gardens!

What do you hope to do with your degree in the future?

I hope to go into creative production and festival producing, using my degree to ensure its as sustainable as possible.

If you had to pick one stand out memory from your time in 91Ö±²¥, what would it be?

The tree social in my first year; running round dressed a Betula pendula (birch tree) will never leave my mind!
