The course is so varied and dynamic
What was your favourite subject at school?
My favourite subject at school was art, I loved A Level especially because we had the freedom to be as creative as we wanted and I produced a big canvas painting for my final piece that I still have at home.
Why did you decide to study landscape architecture at 91Ö±²¥?
I was initially looking into architecture, but discovered landscape architecture at a careers meeting during year 12 at school and then as soon as I visited the department and the city I knew this is where I wanted to go.
I was so impressed with the facilities and the staff were all really friendly.
The course is so varied and dynamic beyond anything I really expected, you learn about everything across the whole landscape architecture discipline.

What do you enjoy most about your course?
The best thing about the course at 91Ö±²¥ is how it has really encouraged my graphic skills.
I had no idea how to use Photoshop or InDesign before I started the course and now I would consider my graphic skills as one of my main strengths.
What do you hope to do in the future?
I hope to go back into practice and establish myself as a landscape architect following the completion of my masters and maybe even work abroad.
I worked in Australia during my year out and I have aspirations to return in the future.
What has surprised you about your course?
I didn’t expect to go to Rotterdam as part of the course, we went on a field trip there in the second year and was certainly one of the highlights of my degree!
