Profile

I am practising Speech and Language Therapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. Although I have a broad clinical experience, I have specialised in working with children and young people with autism and autism spectrum disorders. In 2010, I was awarded an MSc qualification with Distinction in Language and Communication in Children at the University of 91Ö±²¥ and subsequently authored a paper with Professor Bill Wells, (University of 91Ö±²¥) based on my dissertation.

Research interests

My research project commenced in March 2019. The study employs a Conversation Analysis approach to explore the turns-at-talk between school-aged children with High Functioning Autism and adults. The prosodic design of these turns is of particular interest.
